	Try http://www.plex86.org and click on the "research" link at
	the top right. There's a paper talking about x86 virtualization.

	Plex86 is the new name of the FreeMWare project which is trying
	to come up with a free alternative to the commercial x86
	virtualizer VMWare at www.vmware.com.

	I don't know about other CPUs. You might try looking around
	IBM's site for papers on MVS and AS/400 which are essentially
	virtual machines.
