	There is the Flash project at Stanford which was trying to
	virtualize a parallel machine for fault-tolerance:

	Their SOSP paper discusses related virtual machine work.

	I think there was an article in an ACM journal a while back
	talking about the problems with virtualization but I
	cannot locate the reference.
