This summer, golf with us at The Golf Courses at
Incline Village. They are clearly two of the nation's
most classic mountain courses, wrapped with incredible
views of Lake Tahoe.
In Incline Village, the essence of mountain golf
is captured in two brilliantly designed Golf Courses.
The Championship Course sports a par 72 and the
Mountain Course a par 58. |

Both are designed by renowned golf course architects:
Robert Trent Jones and Robert Trent Jones Jr., respectively.
Each course reflects the distinctive style of its
designer with a noticeable blend of integrity and
character throughout these two challenging mountain

In a sprawling mountainous setting, the par 72 Championship
Course stretches over 6,900 yards from the blue
tees, carries a course rating of 72.2. It has a
slope of 133 and rises to an elevation of over 6,500
feet above sea level. A true test of your game in
a spectacular mountain setting! |

You will notice greater distance with every shot
on this high altitude track. Tightly cut fairways
bordered by towering pines demand accuracy as well
as distance. On approach shots, golfers are faced
with bunkered greens and lateral water hazards on
almost every hole. Challenging, to say the least.

This map was the opening scene that began each weekly
episode of "Bonanza", the longest running Western
TV series in history.
Not many people know that the series was filmed
not just in Hollywood, |

but many episodes also took place on the shores
of Lake Tahoe. And that the Ponderosa Ranch actually
does exist! It is a sprawling, 600-acre ranch on
the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, located at Incline

The goal of the Incline Village General Improvement
District (IVGID) Parks and Recreations Department
is to provide recreation opportunities for every
segment of the community.Get jazzed, creative, fit,

focus, the Recreation Center has all of the necessary
amenities including a hardwood floor gymnasium,

The Incline Village Recreation Center is a 37,200
square foot first class complex offering a wide
variety of activities for all ages and interests
in a natural setting. The Center's classic design
validates our staff's commitment to offer only the
finest setting and services for your year-round
recreation and fitness needs.
The Center offers a complete selection of programs
and equipment for you and your family to enjoy on
a daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis. Whether
you come for a work-out or just to play in the pool,
you will be treated to the first class experience
you deserve.

The United State Tennis Association awarded this
public tennis complex with the National Facility
Award, recognizing it as one of the top ten public
facilities in the nation.
Nestled in the trees with spectacular mountain sites,
this complex offers seven courts, a clubhouse, 24-hour
stringing service, extensive lesson programs and
special events. Players of all ages and abilities
are welcome. Weekly doubles socials, tournaments
and lots of activities are on tap all summer long.
Bring a friend and enjoy the pleasure of playing
on our padded, resurfaced tennis courts.
